Students enrolled in the Special Program enjoy access to excellent facilities and a wide range of equipment. Analytical facilities include a number of front-line instruments that routinely produce data of international quality. Details of key instruments are given below.

Students also have access to comprehensive library services through the University Library, including searchable electronic databases. Computing needs are also well met by the network operated by the Information Processing Center, and in-house computer facilities such as the Data Processing Laboratory in the Dept. of Geoscience. All students have free access to email and the Internet.
